Mimulus 'Jelly Bean Betabel' - Hybrid Monkeyflower

Description

This hybrid monkeyflower from the 'Jelly Bean' series has an attractive deep cranberry colored face with an orange throat.  Something about this color combination has a moody feel to it and a certain 'je ne sais quoi'.  As with all hybrid Mimulus, they like light shade or full sun, and a pruning of spent blossoms in summer combined with a little water will lead to another flush of blooms. Prune hard in late winter for a compact plant the next year. Deer resistant and a hummingbird favorite!
