Description

Symphoricarpus albus 'Variegata' forms a low, dense shrub in the 3 to 6 foot range, that often roots over-ground. Attractive, green-yellow foliage accents the early summer blooming pink flowers, which transition to snow white berries that persist through the fall and winter. Winter deciduous, prune for shaping while dormant to encourage a healthy and full shrub. Adaptable to many soil situations including heavy clay, and seems to thrive on neglect once established.
