Ribes malvaceum 'Christy Ridge' - Chapparal Currant

Description

This upright shrub prefers sun to light shade, and is drought tolerant once established. Deciduous in the late fall, soft pink flowers appear in mid winter, followed by leaves and berries. Prefers well drained soil, either through native habitat or amendment, and is a fantastic midsized shrub for a humingbird habitat garden.
