Epilobium 'Marin Pink' - Pink California Fuchsia

Description

This beautiful and unique selection of the California Fuchsia comes from Mount Burdell in Marin County. Lovely salmon-pink flowers emerge atop a mound of gray foliage in late summer into fall. Profuse trumpet shaped flowers make this a great hummingbird plant. It is winter dormant and should be pruned hard every January to look its best the following year. A very tough plant, thriving in poor rocky soil and full sun or light shade. Water infrequently and provide good drainage.
