Pentemon azureus angustissimus var. - Penstemon

Description

A lovely, compact Penstemon, bearing spikes of lavender-blue flowers to about 2 feet tall and wide. Great for hummingbirds, this plant appreciates full sun, good drainage, and occasional summer water. This Northern California native is a close relative of the better known P. heterophyllus.
