Marsilea drummondii - Water Fern

Description

This aquatic Fern is native to Australia, where it grows in seasonal ponds and swampy areas. In a pond, it can be planted below water, and its fronds will float upon the surface. It can be planted in soil which does not dry out completely, where it will form a small mound of lovely silver haired foliage. A striking, easy to grow plant, particularly in a container set in a dish of water so that it never dries out.
