Sidalcea oregana - Oregon Checkerbloom

Description

A taller Checkerbloom than our local species, Oregon Checkerbloom sends up spikes of bright pink flowers to 2 feet tall. Native to moist meadows throughout the mountainous west, this species likes full sun to mostly sun, and regular water. A nice addition to a watered native perennial garden, with other moisture lovers like native Lilies, Scarlet Monkeyflower, Giant Chain Fern, and the sedges and rushes.
