Malacothamnus palmeri 'Jolon' - White Flowered Mallow

Description

A fast growing, showy shrub for a dry sunny spot in the garden, this Mallow is a mounding plant to about 6 by 6 feet. Large, mildly fragrant white flowers open in late spring and continue into summer. Very deer resistant. Its green foliage and white flowers contrast well with the blues and grays of the native sages, another plant that appreciates a dry sunny location. Prune in fall for a nicer plant the following year.
