Description

This charming native succulent is found from Northern California into the Pacific Northwest, growing on steep well drained slopes in sun to light shade. The purplish-green leaves form a low mound, with delicate sprays of yellow flowers rising just a few inches above the foliage in late spring. Best in light shade or morning sun with occasional summer water, Sierra Stonecrop is a nice addition to a rock garden or spilling over a wall or container edge.
