Calochortus superbus - Mariposa Lily

Description

One of the easier native bulbs to grow, this species has large white flowers with reddish markings. Given sun, good drainage, and no summer water, this bulb will delight you with its showy, 18 inch flower stalks every spring and summer. Native to the Northern Sierra foothills.
