Salvia munzii 'Emerald Cascade' - Munz's Sage

Description

This sage is rare in California. It is a member of coastal sage scrub and chaparral communities of the San Miguel Mountains. This selection has leaves smaller than the species and a cascading habit. Flowers are blue and bloom in May. It is a good choice for a sunny well-drained site at the front of a dry border or as a rock garden specimen.
