Description

Related to Rhododendrons and Huckleberries, this small shrub is at home in wet meadows, and in coastal and mountain bogs. The foliage is citrus scented and a deep green color. Clusters of Azalea-like flowers bloom in late spring or summer. If you have a place in your garden with light shade, and an acid moist soil, this could provide a focal point when in bloom and a nice background shrub the remainder of the year.
