Description

This selection of one of our native Dogwoods grows to only 4' tall and wide. One of the best natives for seasonal interest, the bright green growth emerges in early spring, followed by creamy summertime flowers, white fall fruit and yellow leaves until winter, when its intricate branching habit is exposed. A streamside plant in nature, the Dogwood prefers regular water and sun to light shade in a garden situation. Its dense growth and berries make it a valuable wildlife plant for its food and habitat potential.
