Limnanthes douglasii - Meadow Foam

Description

This spring flowering annual graces moist meadows and vernal pools in much of the state as well as gardens from the Bay Area to Europe, where, like many Californica natives, its horticultural merit was first appreciated. In your garden, it would appreciate similar conditions to those found in its natural habitat - full sun and regular water throughout its growing season. Meadow Foam's blossoms range from pure white to yellow with white tips, and appear throughout spring.
