Ceanothus 'Mountain Haze' - Wild Lilac

Description

Ceanothus 'Mountain Haze' grows to a moderate size 6' and has a lovely round headed shape. This is a hybrid introduced in 1946 by Walter Lammerts which involves C. cyaneus and C. impressus (allegedly). It sports loads of very saturated medium-blue flowers in the spring which contrast beautifully with its shiny green leaves. 'Mountain Haze' appreciates full sun, good drainage, is said to be garden tolerant (it can handle a little irrigation). Also said to be a fast grower.
