Lathyrus vestitus alefeldii var. - Wild Pea

Description

This Wild Pea Pea will be found growing in chaparral communities. It is a perennial vine whose stems bare tendrils and grow from 1 to 3 feet in length. The wine red to purple flowers are arranged in racemes and bloom from March to May. In your garden provide a site with sun to part shade. Once established it will require minimal summer water.
