Description

This miniature Ceanothus grows on dry slopes in the San Francisco Bay area. It can be found on Loma Prieta and Mount Madonna. In April and May clusters of indigo blue flowers offer their nectar to bees and butterflies. With a rounded habit and small dark green shiny foliage, this is a good choice for the front of a dry border. Once established summer water is not necessary.
