Calystegia macrostegia cyclostegia ssp. 'Vicente' - Beach Morning-Glory

Description

This subspecies of Calystegia macrostegia is a member of the coastal scrub community of the central coast. This vine will trail on the ground or climb to about eight feet. The small triangular leaves create a beautiful backdrop for the 2" pink flowers. This vine grows in full sun and dry conditions on the coast. Beautiful planted near the base of a large shrub it can twine through and show off its flowers.
