Lilium sp. - Lily

Description

These plants come from unidentified stock plants at YBN. One of our showiest natives, these lilies are ideal for a lightly shaded lawn border, pond edge, or other spot with moisture and protection from afternoon sun. In late spring, 4' stalks bearing several large orange flowers that are loved by our hummingbirds appear. Flower stalks will increase in size, quantity, and number of bloomsover time, and can be divided every couple of years. These lilies provide great color in a shade garden.
