Description

Mountain snowberry can be found growing on rocky or sandy slopes above 4000' in the Sierra Nevadas, Cascades, and the Great Basin Floristic Province. This attractive shrub can grow to four feet tall and wide. In summer the plant is graced with long, bell shaped, pink flowers. The deciduous shrub holds white fruits through the winter months. This shrub is appropriate for higher elevation gardens in sun or part shade.
