Description

This uncommon perennial is found along rocky streambanks in the Sierra Nevada, Cascade and Klamath ranges at elevations below 6500 feet. The foliage is a beautiful umbrella shape. The inflorescence is a panicle of many white to pink flowers, which bloom in summer. It is a dramatic plant, well used as a focal point. In your garden provide shade and a moist situation.
