Description
This cultivar of Sisyrinchium bellum was selected for its large flowers and its profuse habit of growth and bloom. A member of the Iris family, it is found growing in open, moist, grassy areas and woodlands at elevations below 7000 feet. It reaches 1 foot in height with a tufted habit. It looks at home in a meadow growing with native bunch grasses and annual wildflowers. A spring bloomer, its season can be extended with additional water, but do consider that it is drought tolerant.
