Castellija exserta venusta ssp. - Ornate Owl's Clover

Description

This desert annual is found growing in dry sand and in washes between 2,000 to 3,000' in the western Mojave Desert. It is distinguished by upper bracts which are tipped deep pink or purple and a corolla pouch which is orange tipped. In your garden give it a sunny site in a well-drained soil.
