Description

This wide ranging manzanita (found in the Cascade, Sierra, and North Coast Ranges and the San Bernadino, San Jacinto and San Gabriel Mountains, into Baja WA., MT. and Colorado) has a dense, much-branched habit growing to about 6,' although there are some semi-prostrate forms. Attractive clusters of pink flowers are in bloom from mid to late spring. Tolerates hot summers and cold winters, and light shade.
