Description

This is a locally occuring species with especially long leathery deep green glossy leaves. It can be found in moist forests near Butano, Waddel, Laguna Creeks, near Bonny Doon and Rincon Canyon. It wanders freely. Most forms grow to about 1', but one variety reaches 3' or more. In your garden give it some summer water and shade. The foliage is excellent for bouquets.
