Description
The Shining Willow is found in wet meadows, along shores, stream banks and seepage areas below 8,000 feet throughout California. A great choice for a fast screen for a moist area that will reach about thirty feet. Give it full sun to part shade. This willow flowers in March through May. As with all willows, it is an excellent wildlife plant, a fast grower, and has far reaching roots that provide excellent erosion control. With a little pruning, it can be shaped into a lovely lawn or specimen tree.
