Pteris faurii - Brake Fern

Description

Native to Japan and China. A fairly small growing brake found on shaded forest floors. The fronds arch, are attractively lobed and are light green in color. Plants respond well to cultivation but are fairly slow growing and prefer well-drained fibrous soil. They like a shady situation and appreciate mulches. Do not over water during winter.
