Polystichum braunii - Holly Fern

Description

Native to temperate areas, North America, Europe, Japan, China. A hardy fern which will tolerate considerable cold, although in severe climates plants may be deciduous. New fronds are produced in a spectacular, silvery flush. Likes shady, moist conditions in acid, loamy soils.
