Dryopteris dilitata - Broad Buckler Fern

Description

This is a medium sized (2 feet by about 2 feet) vigorous fern with a thick rhizome which forms a spreading rosette of broad triangular, dark green fronds. This is a fern that will want a moist situation. Plants are easily grown in a loamy soil in a shady or partially sunny aspect.
