Rubus spectabilis - Salmon Berry

Description

This member of the Rosaceae family often forms thickets in forests and disturbed sites. It prefers a moist to wet, mostly shaded situation, it is often abundant along stream beds. The flowers are a spectacular magenta color, and the fruit a reddish yellow.
