Description

This is a variety of the common seacliff buckwheat. It differs from the typical species in its shiny green leaves and yellowish-green flowers. This shrubby perennial will grow to 2' tall and wide. It blooms in summer. This variety is found on Point Lobos in Monterey County. Drought tolerant and clay tolerant, it likes sun. In inland areas it may want light shade or occasional water.
