Arabis blepharophylla - Coast Rock Cress

Description

This low growing 10" perennial has brilliant magenta flowers in early spring. A native to coastal bluffs and hillsides on the west side of the outer coast ranges. Near the coast, it needs full sun, good drainage and occasional water, give it a cool spot inland. After bloom, prune off flower stalks to promote more flowers. A nice companion for other coastal perennials like; Seaside Daisy, Bluff Chickweed, and Coastal Wallflower.
