Iris 'Idylwild' - PCH-Iris

Description

One of the loveliest hybrids of our native Iris we have come across, 'Idylwild' displays ruffled purple falls (outer petals) with yellow centers and a slightly deeper purple veination. The standard (center petals) is a lighter purple. As easy to grow as it is beautiful, this iris will reach a little over a foot high and two feet wide, and bloom for several weeks each spring. Likes humusy soil and light shade unless planted on the coast, where it takes full sun. Water occasionally.
