Anemone deltoidea - Columbian Windflower

Description

This perennial member of the Buttercup family is native to moist coniferous forests of the north coast of California and ranges north into Washington. It will be found in open to shaded sites. It is adaptable to garden situations and useful as a showy groundcover. Its stolons creep widely. Dark green leaves contrast beautifully with large white flowers which appear in middle to late spring.
