Description
A relatively small cypress, making it a good choice for a tough, fast growing windbreak or screen. Native to hot areas in Northern California, it likes sun, heat, and dry soil. Foliage, which grows in flattened sprays, has a beautiful glaucus grey-blue tinge and a wonderful citrusy scent. Its growth habit is spreading so it often ends up about as wide as it is tall. Often grows in serpentine soils and is very deer resistant.
