Polystichum tsus-simense - Shield Fern

Description

Native to Japan, Korea and China. A neat fern valued for its compact spreading rosettes, reaching 8 to 20 inches in height. The fronds are fairly stiff and leathery with dark purplish young fronds. Good container plant or in a shady garden spot among rocks.
