Dicksonia antarctica - Tasmanian Tree Fern

Description

This majestic fern is native to temperate and mountainous subtropical areas. It thrives in cool, moist conditions and if given plenty of water, will tolerate a fair degree of exposure to sun. It will develop a spreading crown of many, dark green, bold-textured fronds and a large fibrous trunk. Advanced specimens are easily transplanted.
