Description

One of the most beautiful of the bush mallows, this evergreen shrub reaches 4-10 feet tall and has bright green leaves. Large lavender flowers appear late spring into summer. It benefits from regular pinching to keep the form compact. A wonderful plant for the hot spot in your garden that gets full sun and no water. It will spread by underground runners. Native to the chaparral of the Santa Lucia Mountains of San Luis Obispo County.
