Fremontodendron 'El Dorado Gold' - Flannelbush

Description

This shrub is short, but wide, with a height of 4 ft. and spread of 8 ft. It was introduced by the Saratoga Horticultural Research Foundation. The flowers are of good size, golden yellow, borne from April thru June. The usual cultural rules for Flannel Bush apply: Sun, good drainage, no overhead water. A gravel mulch is also helpful. This selection is fastgrowing and vigorous.
