Description

Shrubby perennial, 2' tall and 5' wide, with greyish foliage. This is a lower and tidier form than other members of the species. Profuse clusters of white flowers in summer. Evergreen. Likes full sun and prefers good drainage. This subspecies is native from Monterey County southward. An excellent honey plant and its deep tap root is effective in preventing erosion.
