Cupressus bakeri - Baker Cypress

Description

This uncommon cypress species is native to the mountain slopes of Shasta county, 3000'to 5000'. Trees grow from 30' to 90' in all soil types. One of the largest in the genus with a conical shape. Very fast growing, plant in full sun or part shade. Drought tolerance makes this a good inland tree species.
