Cupressus abramsiana - Santa Cruz Cypress

Description

A very rare local native, found only in a few isolated groves in the Santa Cruz Mountains. A pretty, contorted small tree in the poor soil and tough conditions it is found in in nature, in the garden expect a fast growing, fairly dense tree to 50 feet or so. Very drought and heat tolerant.
