Ceanothus foliosus medius var. - La Cuesta Ceanothus

Description

Low evergreen shrub 2-3' high and about 4' wide. It has a dense growth form and is more compact than other ceanothus. Blue flowers in small clusters in spring. Very drought tolerant, an excellent choice for a hot, dry, rocky site. Native to chaparral of the inner coast ranges of central California.
