Arctostaphylos hookeri 'Wayside' - 'Wayside' Hooker's Manzanita

Description

This vigorous decumbent form of the Hooker's Manzanita reaches 2' high by about 8' across, although it can, in some situations, grow to reach 3'. Bright green leaves, with winter flowers of pale pink, make for an attractive shrub year round. 'Wayside' is among the more drought and heat tolerant of the lower growing manzanitas, good for bank and slope planting.
