Penstemon newberryi - Mountain Pride

Description

This mat forming subshrub can be found growing in talus and outcrops in the northwestern portion of the state and the Sierra Nevada and Tehachapi mountains. Magenta flowers appear in Spring and continue into the summer. In your garden give it excellent drainage and a warm sunny situation.
