Penstemon clevelandii - Beard-Tongue

Description

A lovely penstemon that grows to 1 to 2 feet tall. The flowers are pink or reddish purple. It is native to the Peninsular ranges, the Sonoran desert, and Mexico. It is found on rocky hillsides. It prefers full sun, welldrained soil and limited summer water after established.
