Arctostaphylos hooveri - Hoover's Manzanita

Description

A plant that came to us from the U.C. Santa Cruz Arboretum. It is described as a large shrub 6' - 12' high. From what we have seen in the nursery it seems to be a vigorous grower. with felty new leaves that are tinged with an attractive rosey color. Plant in full sun or light shade, and give occasional water.
