Ceanothus maritimus - White Maritime Ceanothus

Description

This is a white-flowered selection of the Maritime Ceanothus. This low spreading shrub grows 2-3'high and 6'wide. It flowers in early spring, Jan-March, with a pure creamy-white blossjm. Native to coastal bluffs in San Luis Obispo Co. Grow in full sun on the coast or give filtered afternoon shade inland. Will tolerate clay soils. Drought tolerant.
