Nephrolepis exaltata - Boston Fern

Description

This Sword fern can be used as a house plant or planted outside in our area. It can grow in shade or part sun and in soil that is moist to partially dry, although it should be watered at least once a week during summer. This is an epiphyte in nature, it can be found growing on tree trunks. When you see this fern grow a leafless thread, know that this is a runner which when it touches the ground will root and beget other ferns. In a pot, keep its soil MOIST-DRY.
