Ceanothus gloriosus porrectus var. - Mount Vision Ceanothus

Description

Low evergreen shrub, 18" high, spreading to 6' wide. Lavender flower in March-May. Small holly-like leaves are somewhat resistant to deer. Will take full sun or part sun, and heat. Drought tolerant when established, likes occasional water. Good on slopes. Rare in the wild, found only at Point Reyes.
